 When: October 26, 2019 at 6 PM – 8:30 PM Where: 8009 Jones Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98117-4354, United States This is your chance to support and learn about the ex-refugee community of Nuevo Amanecer, and how you can support New Dawn Guatemala and our solidarity efforts! We will be having a party at the home of our newly elected New Dawn board member, Leticia Mendez-Clausen! Leticia is excited to share what she learned about our scholarship recipients in Guatemala. Join us for Central American and other food, liquid refreshments, music, and a video about the great difference our solidarity is making.  When: Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 6 PM – 9 PM
Where: Seattle First Baptist Church, 1111 Harvard Ave, Seattle, Washington 98101 Details Join New Dawn Guatemala board members for stories of our summer trip to the ex-refugee community of Nuevo Amanecer in Guatemala. Learn about the latest updates from the community and how you can support our solidarity work. We will be presenting after a 6 p.m. community dinner ($8 donation to the church for dinner) at Seattle First Baptist Church, 1111 Harvard Avenue in Seattle. The presentation is a report and thank-you to the church, which contributed $1,000 to us last December. All are welcome. Parking is free in the lot next to the church. |
