Sharing Their StoryVolunteers with New Dawn Guatemala traveled to Guatemala in late July along with two film-makers to document the story of Nuevo Amanecer and illustrate the critical support that New Dawn Guatemala provides the ex-refugee community.
The film will serve as a critical means to garner more support for the community - ultimately helping New Dawn to continue providing tuition assistance, funding for job training, and community improvement projects. To make the best film possible, New Dawn is working with a local film-maker who agreed to edit the film. However, New Dawn Guatemala still needs to raise $3,000 to commission the feature film by paying an editor to assemble the footage. Please help us make this film a reality by donating what you can. |
